Mengel Brothers Duo
Dana and Les (brothers) regularly play Sunday nights at Chaz on The Plaza located in the beautiful Raphael Hotel on the County Club Plaza.
The duo (violin and cello) have a repertoire of over 300 selections ranging from classical, jazz, pop, blues and original compositions. Both studied at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music.
Dana, composer/violinist, has had over 1,000 choral anthems published since 1990. An ASCAP award-winning recipient every year since 1992, his works have been performed internationally.
Les, cellist, has performed with the Kansas City Symphony and at the Concours International Chamber Music Competition in Paris.
The duo is also available to play for special events - wedding, public events and private parties. Contact us.
